Highly detailed 1:24 Hobby Grade RC crawler “Land Rover Range Rover FCX24M Camel Trophy RTR”, inspired by the original Range Rover that defined a new kind of luxury off-roader and built around a compact 4WD platform designed for trail driving and technical terrain.

When the Range Rover was introduced in 1970, it brought together two qualities that had rarely been combined in the same vehicle: genuine off-road capability and a level of comfort and refinement that made it equally suited to everyday driving.

Its original design was remarkably clean. The upright body, generous glass area, simple surfaces and balanced proportions created a silhouette that remains instantly recognizable decades later. The hard ABS body preserves the distinctive shape of the first-generation Range Rover, while the detailed interior, scale accessories, roof rack and integrated LED lighting add depth to the miniature. The result is a model that feels like a small expedition vehicle rather than simply a scaled-down RC platform.

Underneath, the FCX24M 4WD chassis gives the Range Rover the mechanical foundation needed to leave the display shelf behind. Metal frame rails, four-link suspension, hydraulic-style shocks and metal-geared portal axles provide the structure for navigating rocks, dirt and uneven ground.

The 134 mm wheelbase gives this Range Rover a balanced footprint. It is longer than the compact Defender 90 configuration, providing a more stable stance while remaining small enough for technical trails. With 28 mm of ground clearance and a 64° approach angle, the FCX24M can negotiate obstacles while maintaining the characteristic proportions of the original vehicle.

The two-speed transmission allows its driving character to change with the terrain. Low range provides controlled torque for technical crawling and precise climbs, while high range allows the Range Rover to move more freely across open sections of trail.

A 050 35T brushed motor provides the power, while the proportional radio system allows precise control of throttle and steering. The included 7.4V 380mAh 2S LiPo battery powers the compact platform for trail sessions, while its small dimensions make it easy to transport and drive in a wide variety of environments.

The factory-installed roof rack and integrated LED lighting reinforce the expedition character, while the quick-release body system provides convenient access to the mechanical components for maintenance and adjustments.

What makes this model distinctive is the personality behind the shape. The Range Rover was never simply about crossing obstacles.
